Green Beauty Is Beyond Clean Beauty – 3 Sustainably Sourced Ingredients That Are Trendy Now
GOING FOR CLEAN BEAUTY AND BEYOND
Clean beauty is on the rise and is set to dominate the skincare industry as consumers appreciate products with safe and non-toxic ingredients.
Green beauty goes beyond clean beauty.
As our environmental challenges rise, eco-consciousness is exploding among concerned consumers looking to reduce their carbon footprint and protect the Earth we call home.
Green beauty means that the ingredients are sourced, produced, and packaged in an ethical and sustainable way that is kind to the planet. It gives transparency in the end-to-end supply chain.
Here at snowperk, we provide all the scientific data to reassure you that we prioritise your skin health. We care about where our ingredients come from, and how these ingredients impact our beautiful planet and all the creatures that live here.
Let’s have a closer look at 3 sustainably sourced ingredients that we use at snowperk after careful deliberations of the environment and our consumers.
Wildcrafted Lemon Myrtle, That Preserves The Plant
Named QUEEN of the lemon herbs, Backhousia Citriodora, is an Australian Lemon Myrtle Extract.
Endemic to subtropical rainforests of central and south-eastern Queensland, it is an attractive tree with dense foliage and creamy white flowers.
Lemon Myrtle is clinically-proven to be effective in rebalancing sebum production and sebum control. It can also decrease inflammation in the skin. These are just a few reasons why we use Lemon Myrtle in our Pore Minimising Booster.
We selected the Lemon Myrtle supplier who is aligned with our sustainability philosophy. Our lemon Myrtle supplier runs the campaign to protect biodiversity.
For every kg of Lemon Myrtle sold, $2 will be donated to ‘Friends of the Koala’. ‘Friends of the Koala’ is an organisation committed to conserving koalas and preserving and enhancing their habitats. They aim to make a key contribution to Australia’s biodiversity.

Sustainably Sourced Damask Rose, That Protects The Supply
A precious flower called Damask Rose that only blooms once a year, during the month of May & June.
750 local Turkish families harvest the rose bushes using trusted and traditional methods, and handpick the fresh roses in the morning in bloom.
These local families are also offered education and technical support by our ingredient supplier, to ensure that they receive the best farming and harvesting practices. These practices provide a constant supply of precious flowers over the years.
This Damask rose supplier empowers communities as well as individuals be it in their inner beauty or their livelihoods.
They provide aid in any way that allows these Turkish families to receive stable and consistent income throughout the year.
And that’s why we decided to source our Damask Rose from this global supplier.
We carefully select ingredients that have a good social impact.
This Damask rose is targeted to recover skin vitality, so your skin can look glowing and less dull. It also helps to reduce the appearance of dark circles and dark spots for a more even skin tone and well-rested skin.
Damask rose (Rosality™) is clinically tested on Caucasian and Asian skin and results can be observed in just 7 days!
P.S Did you know that 1000kg of petals from 3000 Damask roses only yield 1kg of rose essential oil (Rosality™)?
